The Hannover Messe is considered to be the world’s most important technology event. The industrial Groups of Siemens AG – Automation and Drives and Industrial Solutions and Services, for example – present their range of products at various forums. And the main booth in Hall 9 alone, where one also finds the spectacular “glass factory,” extends over some 3,000 square meters
The Fürth-based full-service agency gernBotschaft assumed a leading role in the content-related design of printed materials and e-media for the trade show presentation:
For Automation and Drives, gernBotschaft implemented a broad range of media and resources dealing with low-tension switch technology. Until January 2004, the promotional materials for the products and systems for the brand name SIRIUS were supplied by the ad agency Publicis. Following the concept presentation, the project budget of the umbrella campaign was awarded to gernBotschaft. The conception and realization included, among other things, printed material, trade show films, and the Internet micro-site. The successful industry communications that gernBotschaft has provided Siemens since the summer of 2002, for the Internet and in presentation media, was also continued. Thus, the appearance of the Competence Center Food & Beverages, optimized with respect to content and design, was put into effect for the first time at the Hannover Messe.
At the Hannover Messe, the company’s Industrial Solutions and Services Group presented to the public for the first time its new concept of Completely Integrated Solutions – which integrates production equipment, industrial IT, and system servicing and modernization into a value added package for the industry. After two successful partial pitches, gernBotschaft, in close partnership with the client, contributed significantly to shaping the concept into a coherent construct of ideas and implementing it verbally and visually. Consequently, there was then the task of redefining almost all of the printed material on the image and product levels (a total of about 150 individual media in multilingual versions) and then incorporating it within the context of the Completely Integrated Solutions. Furthermore, the new concept was communicated in high-quality, three-dimensional presentations, all of which were prepared under the exclusive direction of gernBotschaft. The visitors at the Siemens I&S booth were greeted with a spectacular 90-second film, which the agency planned and completed in collaboration with its partner Ammerbacher Media Visions of Nuremberg. Articles in the press and PR measures rounded out the range.
