Founded in Nuremberg in January 2000, gernBotschaft Gesellschaft für Kommunikation currently employs 22 permanent employees. Following two changes in location, the company moved into offices at the former Grundig complex in Fürth-Uferstadt at the end of 2003. For the most part, gernBotschaft develops communications solutions for industry, the real estate sector, financial service providers, the healthcare industry, trade and transportation. Bernhard Pluskwik, Johann Kick-Diener und Claus-Peter Bierling-Blotzki share management responsibilities.
Once each year, the independent association ITVA (IT-Video-Audio) honors industrial advertising films at the “photokina” in Cologne. Last fall gernBotschaft won the gold prize for the concept and content of the 90-second ad “Strongest Man.” gernBotschaft conceived the spot for the Siemens Group Industrial Solutions and Services in collaboration with Nuremberg’s Ammerbacher Studios, and the film presented the company at the 2004 Hannover Messe.
The aim of the film was to communicate to the trade show visitors Siemens’ new solutions and service concepts, not only on the cognitive level, but also on the emotional one. The filmmakers created ideas, sketches, and a screenplay for the award-winning film. “We told a simple and powerful story,” Pluskwik said about the film. And the film, he continued, is integrated into a communications concept that the agency implemented for Siemens in diverse print and electronic media.
