The Fürth-based agency gernBotschaft is supporting its client Siemens Medical Solutions with a complete communications set for the RSNA Radiological Conference.

Each year, the medical technology industry meets in Chicago for the RSNA Conference, sponsored by the Radiological Society of North America. Manufacturers and users of imaging systems, computer tomography equipment, magnetic resonance devices, or nuclear medical devices, for example, give presentations and assess the state of innovation. Siemens Medical Solutions is regarded as the world’s leader in technological developments. This year, however, the Erlangen company’s exhibits and professional presentations focused not just on new imaging systems, but also on syngo, the software that integrates the entire workflow from patient admittance to image distribution.

The new syngo generation provides hospitals with a previously unattainable level of diagnostic quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction throughout the imaging process. This was reason enough for Siemens Medical Solutions to turn its attention to the area of communications as well. It wanted to convince its clients, of course, but it was also concerned with motivating its own sales personnel to focus on the innovation. In both areas – internal and external communication – Siemens relied upon the content-related, creative, organizational, and technical expertise of the Fürth-based agency gernBotschaft.

There were a number of goals: to reflect the new syngo content convincingly in brochures and direct mailings, to win over the sales team for the upcoming changes using emotional image-sound compositions, and adapt the interior design of the Siemens headquarters to the new syngo generation. The realization of these goals in printed materials, multimedia, online information, and ambience showed great style in terms of their concept and design. The client, who repeatedly praised the consistency and quality of the implemented measures, was very satisfied.
