From September 17-28, 2007, a real power pack rolled to six locations of Siemens Medical Solutions in Germany: a 24-ton show truck; on board about nearly everything needed to get the UPTIME Services teams in Berlin, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Mannheim, Stuttgart, and Nuremberg in the mood for the newly defined proactivity approach – a big interactive stage and training program.

UPTIME Services is the technical service organization of Siemens Medical Solutions, and one of the biggest service providers in healthcare worldwide. It has expanded its customer care portfolio even further and differentiates itself now from its competition with outstanding, proactive services – because the success of medical systems on the market depends more and more on the services a manufacturer offers.

About 470 engineers and service employees as well as approximately 50 guests from the management of UPTIME Services experienced the new maxim “Proactivity as differentiator” live and in action – all planned, organized, and supervised by gernBotschaft. With a successful mix of training and infotainment, gernBotschaft effectively reached the participants and the show had a lasting effect. Wilfried Hohn, responsible for the service business in Europe, came to Berlin and Nuremberg, and Dr. Heimsch, head of Customer Service Germany, was among the participants in Hanover.

As communication consultant for the new strategic focus of UPTIME Services, gernBotschaft took over the complete text and graphic realization of the road show – from invitations and mailings, truck stickers and crew clothing to the training modules and road show packages for the participants. At the same time, the agency planned all six events, coordinated the assembling and dismounting of the stage, the pavilion as well as of the training equipment and led the different training groups through the training sessions. As expected, everything went smoothly – with a lot of commitment and high spirits. It is a known fact that one learns more easily with stimulating impulses. This is why gernBotschaft also provided for entertainment and refreshments all around the training sessions: a competent and charming host, able to master all kinds of surprises, led through the program and an excellent catering awaited the participants for lunch break as well as during the evening show. Other highlights such as sweeping dance acts, a proactivity quiz, and the presentation of the new UPTIME corporate fashion collection on a catwalk also contributed to the good atmosphere.
