In view of major changes in consumer behavior and reduced sales in the toy industry, Vedes decided to reposition its brand essence. The primary goal in this endeavor is the enhancement of the brand’s visual appearance in advertising media, e.g., newspaper flyers, as well as in periodically published or event-related catalogues.
Taking the countries’ specifications into account, gernBotschaft developed a modular visualization concept. Based on this concept, catalogs with more than 400 pages were and are being created as quickly as possible. The business spectrum of gernBotschaft thus ranges from photography in their own studio to media-neutral photo processing, as well as the creation of an image database, which even includes the supplying data for diverse printing standards.
Vedes was founded more than 100 years ago. Since that time, the company has developed into the most powerful specialized trade association for games and recreation in all of Europe. More than 1,000 specialist dealers are supplied by Vedes from its central office – with more than 20,000 articles, country-specific marketing concepts, and promotional advertising materials.
